Welcome to Class 3
Thursday 13th May
What a fantastic start we have already had in Class 3. This year will be exciting and jam-packed with activities such as exploring our local area in geography and art. Studying the history of toys in history, taking a trip to see our school bees and dressing as beekeepers in science for our animals topic. As well as our core subjects, we will be embracing our new Creative Curriculum where we will design and make our own moving toys in Design and Technology, putting our fine motor skills to the test. In art we will discover local artist Lucy Pittaway and explore different techniques.
Religious Education is such an important aspect of our school community. In RE, we will study themes such as families and belonging, signs and symbols the sacrament of Baptism, Judaism and Advent (waiting).
Our teacher this year is Mrs. Cooper and our teaching assistant is Mrs Stephenson,
Homework will be given out on a Friday and returned on a Thursday via Google Classroom.
Our PE day is Wednesday. Children are expected to wear the full school PE kit, which will be sent home for washing at the end of each half term.
We hope to have an amazing year together, learning lots of new things and growing together.
