Welcome to Year 6!
Hello. The Class 12 team would like to welcome you all to our class page. Our teacher this year is Mrs Barrett and Mrs Burns and our teaching assistant is Mrs Livingson.
We are all so very proud of our pupils who have made an outstanding start to the school
year. We are looking forward to sharing our progress and achievements.
Religious Education is such an important aspect of our school community. In RE, we will
study themes such as Domestic Church, Baptism and Advent which help us to explore
loving, vocations and expectations.
This will really be an exciting year – as we will celebrate our academic successes, our
developing skills and growing talents.
Homework will be given out on a Friday and returned on a Thursday via Google Classroom.
Our PE days are Tuesday and Friday. Children are expected to wear the full school PE kit.
This is a very exciting year for the children as they are slowly preparing for that next step into secondary school. Being in Year 6 (the oldest children in the school), comes with lots of roles and responsibilities such as: Head Boy and Head Girl, looking after the younger pupils, setting a good example and many more.
